Procumbent Yellow-sorrel is a creeping rooting perennial which grows in dry conditions.
It has small yellow flowers, often in umbels of 1-7 flowers;
each flower has 10 stamens, all of which have anthers.
The leaves are trifoliate, and often tinged brown.
The stalks become reflexed in fruit to lift the seed pod clear of the ground.
A similar plant is Least Yellow-sorrel, which is smaller.
