| Autumn Gentian (Felwort) | Gentian family |
| Gentianella amarella | Gentianaceae |
Autumn Gentian (or Felwort) is so named because it only starts flowering late in the year, generally in August or September. It is found only locally on chalk or limestone soils. It differs from other gentians by having fringes of hairs at the mouth of the corolla.
