| Umbilicus rupestris | Crassulaceae |
Navelwort (or Wall Pennywort) grows in walls and on roadside banks mainly in the West Country. It has a tall central spike from which hang greenish-white cylindrical bell-shaped flowers. The circular leaves are attached to the base and stem by long fleshy stalks which resembles hollow-centred navels.
