Juneberry is a naturalised shrub or tree which can grow to 10 metres tall. The flowers have 5 distinctly separate white petals, and produce a fruit (pome) which turns from green to red to purplish-black. The finely-toothed leaves are initially brown, becoming green for the summer, then turning yellow, orange or red in the autumn.
