| Summer Snowflake | Daffodil (Lily) family |
| Leucojum aestivum | Amaryllidaceae (Liliaceae) |
The Summer Snowflake is similar to the Snowdrop, except that it is taller and stouter, and has several flowers arranged in a loose umbel. Like the snowdrop, the flowers are white with a green spot near the tip of each petal. It grows in wet woods or by streams, and is often found as a garden escape.
