Ivy-leaved Toadflax is a trailing plant that is usually found growing on walls,
but can also be found on rocks and stony ground.
The flowers are like those of a small snapdragon, with a spur at the back of the petals;
usually they are pale lilac, although they can also be pink or white.
The leaves are ivy-shaped, giving the plant its name.
After flowering, the stalks of the fruit capsules bend away from the light and bring the
fruit into contact with crevices in the wall.
