Perennial herb, 30-70cm tall, erect stems
Leaves: Narrow, lance-shaped, hairless
Flowers: Rose-pink, petals cut into 4 narrow lobes. Both stamens and styles are present in each flower (unlike Red and White Campions)
Flowering time: May-August
Habitat: Marshes and wet meadows
Distribution: Frequent throughout Britain
