Greater Chickweed is similar to Common Chickweed, but is a much larger plant, with flowers 10-12mm apart which have 10 reddish stamens. It is found locally in damp places in southern England.
This plant can be confused with Water Chickweed, but the petals of Greater Chickweed are the same length as the sepals, and it is less hairy.
