Wildflowers in Eelmoor Marsh SSSI

Eelmoor Marsh contains several interesting species of wild flowers.
It has several orchids and helleborines, such as the Bee Orchid, Common Spotted-Orchid, Southern Marsh Orchid, Early Marsh Orchid, and the Broad-leaved Helleborine, Green-flowered Helleborine, and the very showy Marsh Helleborine.
The peaty bogs also support a variety of insectivorous plants, including Sundews, Butterworts, and Bladderwort.
In addition to three species of heather, including the Cross-leaved Heath, it contains other heath-loving plants such as Blue Fleabane, Lousewort, Yellow Bartsia, and Yellow-wort.
